Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 two pound can whole plum tomatoes
- 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 ground pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Pour olive oil in skillet. Squeeze tomatoes to crush them. Add tomatoes to pan, and remaining ingredients. Cook over medium low heat, breaking tomatoes with wooden spoon until sauce is thick. 40 to 50 minutes.
Pass through food mill, discard seeds.
Makes 2 pizzas.
