Yellow cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sifted all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temp
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Sift dry ingredients.

Cream butter. Add sugar, beat 3 - 4 minutes until lightened. Add eggs one at a time.

Slowly add dry ingredients alternating buttermilk, a little at at time on low speed. Add vanilla.

Bake 350 for 25 minutes
