Ingredients
- prepare meatballs before making the sauce, this is a really quick dish when using store bought meatballs.
- 1 (20 oz.) can drained pineapple chunks
- 1 (13 3/4 oz.) can beef broth
- 1 red pepper cut into chunks
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 2/3 c. maple syrup
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
Combine pineapple chunks, beef broth, green peppers, maple syrup, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil over medium high heat; reduce heat, cover, and simmer 5 minutes. Gradually add combined vinegar and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in meatballs. Transfer to chafing dish or fondue pot if used for appetizers or serve over rice as a main dish. Serves
