  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 (6-ounce) cod fillets
  • 2 teaspoons butter

Step 1

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the Italian dressing, sugar, salt, garlic powder, curry powder, paprika, and black pepper. Add the fish; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 10 to 30 minutes.

Drain and discard marinade; place fillets on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil 3 to 4-inches from the heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Place 1 teaspoon butter on each fillet; let stand until melted. Serve immediately.
