Ingredients
- 2 t olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 T minced fresh ginger root
- 3 c green beans
- 2 T lemon juice
- 2 t finely grated lemon zest
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/8 t freshly ground pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium or medium-low heat. Add garlic and ginger and cook, stirring 1 minute.
Add green beans and cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally, about 2 minutes
Add lemon juice and zest; cover and steam until green beans are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
