Ingredients
- Egg Yolks, 2
- 2 Sticks of Butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt.
Preparation
Step 1
Beat 2 sticks butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 3/4 cup confectioners sugar until fluffy. Beat in 2 egg yolks, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp orange zest. Whisk 2 1/4 cups flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt; stir into the butter mixture, then chill 30 minutes. Roll tablespoonfuls into balls and flatten, sprinkle with coarse sugar and bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Add sprinkles before baking or icing after baking then sprinkles.
