CORN BREAD

Got this recipe from Deb Duncan... and it is very very yummy !!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Combine eggs and milk. Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the egg mixture.

Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan (I used muffin tins - 24) and bake at 400 for 22-25 minutes. (I reduced the heat to 375 and baked for about 15)
