HARDEE’S BISCUITS

Ingredients

  • Directions:
  • 4 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 7 tablespoons shortening
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ● Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  • ● Mix all of the ingredients. (Mixture will be slightly sticky.)
  • ● Knead in enough flour to roll out;
  • ● Roll out, cut and place on a greased cookie sheet.
  • ● Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.

Step 1

The biscuits are softer and better if they are large. (Don’t roll out too thin.)
