Ingredients
- 1 Devil's food cake mix
- ingredients on back of box
- 1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
- 1 container (16oz) chocolate or white frosting
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix cake batter according to package directions until smooth. Place paper cupcake liners in muffin pan. Fill muffin cups half full wth batter.
In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, and sugar until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Place a Tbsp of cream filling in the center of each cupcake. Bake 18-22 mintes. Remove cupcakes from pan and cool completely. Top with frosting. Makes at least 24 cupcakes.
