Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 can ( 1 lb.) pumpkin
  • 1 can evaporated milk (13 oz.)
  • 1 9" deep dish pie shell
  • Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugars, salt, and spice. Add pumpkin, eggs, and milk. Mix well.
Pour into a unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Pie should be done when knife inserted in pie comes out clean. Top with Cool Whip.
