Ingredients
- 2 pounds large shrimp in the shell
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- lemon wedges

Step 1
1. Rinse and drain shrimp. If you wish to devein them, cut a slit down back of each of shell with sharp knife and remove vein.
2. In large bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, black pepper, garlic, cayenne and paprika. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and marinate-tossing occasionally-2 hours at room temperature or up to 8 hours in frig.
3. Prepare hot fire. Grill shrimp, turning and basting with marinade frequently until they turn pink and are opaque throughout (about 5-10 minutes) Serve with lemon wedges.
