Frozen Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

  • Oven Temperature: 425 degrees
  • 4 qts. strawberries, washed and sliced
  • 4 cups sugar, less if berries are sweet
  • 3/4 cup tapioca
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients and pour into 4 foil lined pie plates. Freeze. Seal tightly in plasti bags to store after frozen. When ready to use: Let stand until foil can be pulled off. Place each in a crust. Cover with top crust.
Bake 1 hour. Amount: 4 pies.
