OVEN FRIED CHICKEN

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 1/2 to 3 pound) broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup corn flake crumbs
  • 1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Coat chicken with combined flour and seasonings. Dip chicken in combined egg and water; coat with combined crumbs and cheese. Place in 13 x 9-inch baking pan, drizzle margarine over chicken. Bake at 375deg, one hour or until tender. Yield: 4 servings.
