Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • Butter or cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

1. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.

2. Whisk in melted butter, egg, and milk until combined. Don't over mix. Don't worry about lumps. Let batter rest for 5 minutes.

3.Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Spray with cooking spray. Pour batter into the hot skillet, about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until bubbles appear on the sides and center of each pancake. Flip and cook until golden, about 1 to 2 minutes

Hint, If pan is getting too hot, remove off the heat for a minute, then start the next pancake.

Before you turn the pancake you could add, banana slices, blueberries, strawberries, chocolate chips. Lots of goodies.
