Broth Simmered Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz.) Swanson Beef Broth (1 3/4 cups)
  • 3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice

Preparation

Step 1

Heat broth in 2-qt saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.

Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low. Cover saucepan and cook for 20 min. or until rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.


***Florentine Simmered Rice: Add 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning to broth. Add 1 cup chopped spinach with rice. Stir in ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Serve with additional cheese.
