Rice Green RIce My favorite

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw rice--can use Minutes rice
  • 2 packages frozes chopped broccoli or use fresh
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can crem of chicken or mushroom soup (I like mushroom souo best)
  • 1 small can mushroom, pieces and stems, drained
  • 1 8 ounce original cheese whiz

Preparation

Step 1

Cook rice and broccoli separately, according to pkg. directions.

Drain broccoli and combine with rice.

In skillet, saute the onions and celery utnil tender. Add the soup, mushrooms and cheese mixtures.

Turn into a buttered baking dish and bake 30 minuted in a 350 degree oven.

This may be made a day ahead and baked before serving or you can freeze it and bake later.
