Ingredients
- 12 oz. Bittersweet or semi sweet chocolate
- 3/4 fresh brewed coffee (STRONG)
- 1 c sugar
- 2 sticks unsalted butter (room temp)
- 6 eggs beaten
- 1 c heavy cream whipped and sweetened (you can use whipped cream instead)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat over to 300
2. Line a 1 2/3 or 2 sq. ovenproof bowl with a single piece of heavy foil. Make sure there are no tears.
3. Melt chocolate with coffee and sugar in med saucepan stir over med heat until sugar is dissolved
4. Add butter in pieces whisking continually
5. Remove from heat and quickly whisk in eggs.
6. Immediately strain the mixture into foil bowl
7. Place in lower third of oven and bake 60-70 min until it rises, cracks and is crusty and dry around the edges.
8. Let cook to room temp. Cover and re fridge overnight.
9. Invert bowl peel foil and decorate with whip cream
