Ingredients
- 1 envelope gelatin
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup coffee, strong and fresh
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 to 4 tablespoons Kahlua
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot
Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle gelatin over 2 tbsp. cold water to soften. Combine in pan, cream and sugar. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until dissolves. Remove from heat. Stir in gelatin. Mix in sour cream and vanilla. Four into mold and chill.
Sauce:
Heat coffee and sugar until dissolves. Mix arrowroot with 2 tablespoons cold coffee and make paste. Add to coffee and sugar. Cook over low heat, stir constantly until thickens. Remove from heat, add Kahlua, chill.
