Ingredients
- 4 medium peeled and chopped potatoes
- 2 stalks sliced celery
- 1 medium chopped white or yellow onion
- 8 ounces sliced smoked sausage
- 1 can beef broth
- 2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 cups chopped cabbage
- 3 Tabslepoons chopped parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Spray crockpot lightly with canola oil. Add the potatoes, celery, onion, smoked sausage, and beef broth to the crockpot. Turn the crockpot to its low heat setting. In a small bowl, mix the cider vinegar, sugar, pepper, celery seed, and dry mustard. Pour over the ingredients in the crockpot. Cook for 8-9 hours. Add the cabbage, and cook till tender, about 20 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
