Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef (1 lb each round/sirloin and chuck)
- 3 TBS Worcestershire
- 1 TBS season salt
- 1 egg
- 1 4 oz chopped black olives
- 1 regular package stuffing
- Thick-sliced bacon
Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix egg, worcestershire and seasoned salt. Mix in ground beef and olives.
2. On a large sheet of waxed paper, spread meat mixture out flat in a rectangular shape. Prepare stuffing according to package directions. Spread stuffing over meat mixture. Roll meat into a log like a jelly roll. Cut log into thick slices (about 12). Wrap a piece of bacon** around each spiral and fasten w/ a toothpick. Grill, don't bake or broil.
I use thick sliced or slab bacon. I partially cooked the bacon in the microwave before putting around the spiral.
