Steam Chicken with Mushroom, white fungus and lily gold needle

Ingredients

  • 300 gm Chicken Fillet
  • 4 pc Chinese mushroom
  • 10 gm Black Fungus
  • 10 gm Daily Lily gold needle
  • 2 pcs Ginger
  • Marinade
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dark Soy
  • 1/2 tbsp Light Soy
  • 1/2 tbsp Chinese Wine
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Corn Starch

Preparation

Step 1

Soak mushroom, black fungus and day lily gold needle in 3 separate bowls of water
Wash and clean chicken fillet, pat dry and cut into 1 inch squares. Set aside
When mushrooms are soft, squeeze out the water and slice them thinly
Day lily gold needle need to tie a knot
Cut black fungus to 1 inch pieces
Use a heat proof dish, mix all ingredients together and marinate for at least 30 min
Fill saucepan 1/3 full with water and bring to full boil
Steam for 20 min and check for doneness. If chicken is not ready, steam for another 5 min.
