SLOW COOKER HASH BROWN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

Got this off FB and thought of our staff meetings.. it was a hit... I thought it looked boring.. but the guys loved it !!

Ingredients

  • 30 oz package of frozen hashbrowns (shredded or diced)
  • 4 cooked sausage or diced ham (I used diced ham)
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Place hashbrowns in bottom and spread them with your fingers and break them up.

In a mixing bowl combine the rest of the ingredients. Pour over hash browns.

Cover and cook 6 hours on low. A bit longer if you want things to get crispy...

I shredded cheese on the top when it was done and before serving.
