Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz.) bag coleslaw mix (this one has the dressing in the bag)
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon toasted sesame oil (the oil is brownish)
  • 1/2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Place the coleslaw mix (not the dressing) in a large bowl. In another smaller bowl, mix together the dressing that came with the coleslaw mix and the remaining ingredients except the peanuts and cilantro. Pour the dressing mixture onto the coleslaw tossing well to mix. Sprinkle peanuts and cilantro on top and serve.
