Ingredients

  • 1 shoulder beef roast
  • Potatoes, peeled and halved
  • Carrots, peeled, cut into 1’ pieces
  • 1 can tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 or 2 onions, quartered
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 or 3 Tablespoons vinegar
  • Margarine
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degree.

On top of stove brown roast on both sides.
Remove from heat and add the potatoes, carrots,
and onions. Pour the tomatoes over roast and vegetables.
Add the sugar and vinegar. Place a few dots of margarine
on top. Salt and pepper. Bake approximately 4 hours.

Note: I like to use a roasting pan that
you can use in the oven. This way you
can brown the roast, add everything and
and put in oven.
