Peach Cobbler: Makes It's Own Crust (Grandma Smithermans Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 32 oz. sliced peaches with juice

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder together. Put margarine in baking dish and put in oven at 350 to melt. Add peaches without juice (reserve juice) to melted margarine. Add milk to flour mixture and mix well. Pour over peaches and then pour reserved peach juice over batter. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour.

Need to use a pan that is a little bigger than a 9 inch square.
