  • 1 lb Usda Lean Braised Beef Chuck For Beef Stew
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 2 cups Yellow Onion Sliced 1/4
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Stems & Pieces (netcarb) Net Wt. 6.5 Oz
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tsp Tomatoes Paste
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • 2 cups Potato, Raw
  • 1 cup Homemade Fresh Green Beans
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Tap Water
  • 1 tbsp Parsley, Freeze-dried

Preparation

Step 1

Coat cubed beef with flour, shake off excess flour. In a large non stick pot, heat oil over medium - high heat. Add beef; saute until browned, about 6 minutes. Place on a plate. Add onions and mushrooms to pot; saute for 6 minutes. Add garlic and parsley; saute, stirring for 1 minute. Pour off any fat. Return beef to pot; stir in tomato paste, then broth. Add water to just cover; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer until beef is tender, about 1 hr. 15 min. Add carrots, potatoes, and green beans. Cover partially; simmer for 15 minutes. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of cold water; stir into stew. Increase heat and boil uncovered for 1 minute. Serve.
