Casserole, Chicken Tetrazzini

Ingredients

  • 1/2 each, onion, red pepper, green pepper
  • 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tasblespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 soup can light crem
  • 1 tasblespoon white wine
  • 1/2 cup sharp natural cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teapoon salt
  • 1/4 lb. thin spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, cut in large chunks
  • 3 tablespoons pimento, sliced
  • Grated cheese
  • Paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Cook onion, green pepper and mushrooms in buter in heavy saucepan until tender; blend in soup, cream, wine and shredded cheese; add salt. Cook over low heat until cheese melts, stirring frequently Combine with spaghetti, chicken and pimento in buttered casserole; sprinkle lightly with grated cheese and paprika. Bake 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
