Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cups unsalted butter - softened
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- water

Step 1
Pre-Heat oven to 375º. Combine 1 cup sugar and 3/4 cup butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy.
Add egg and beat until mixed well. Reduce speed to low; add flour, baking powder and salt - mix well.
Place remaining 1 cup of sugar in a small bowl. Shape dough into 1" balls. Dip top of each ball in water, then in sugar. Place 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8-14 minutes or until edges are very slightly browned.
