Ingredients
- 18-24 fresh strawberries (depends on size)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 to 1 cup Cool Whip, optional but recommended
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
Using a mixer, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Fold in Cool Whip. Spoon mixture into a ziptop plastic bag; seal and refrigerate until needed.
Rinse and dry strawberries. Cut straight across the tops to remove the stems. Using a sharp paring knife point, carefully hull out the centers then cut off the bottom tips so they will sit upright (then wipe the cut areas dry).
Place the graham cracker crumbs in a small bowl. Cut a corner off the ziptop bag and pipe the filling into the strawberries then dip tops in the crumbs. Place on a serving plate and serve immediately or refrigerate until serving time.
