Baked Barbecued Broilers

Ingredients

  • 2 each broiler/fryer chickens
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15oz
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cider or red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

PLACE chickens breast side up in a large shallow roasting pan.

COMBINE all the other ingredients and pour over the chickens. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350. Cover and bake for 30 minutes or until chickens is 180. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
