Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 8 oz cream cheese; softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 16 oz box powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup chocolate toffee bits
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9 baking pan.
Cake: in bowl, combine mix, egg, and butter and mix well with hands. Pat in bottom of pan.
Filling: in mixing bowl, cream cheese; add eggs and vanilla, sugar, slowly add butter. Mix well; fold in toffee bits. Pour filling on cake mixture and spread evenly. Bake 40-50 minutes. Don't over cook. Cool completely; cut into squares.
