Gourmet Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 8 center cut pork chops
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • paprika
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup dry white wine (sub chicken broth)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tsp. bottled garlic spread
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Brown pork chops in butter. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Remove from skillet. Add mushrooms to drippings and saute. Mix in remaining ingredients except sour cream. Stir until well blended. Return pork chops to skillet. Cover and simmer 1 hour or until done. Add sour cream and heat through. Do not boil. Serve immediately.
