Ingredients
- a clear-glass pie plate
- 1 ( 3 ounce ) package berry-blue Jello
- 2 canned peach halves
- 1 thin slice of American cheese
- 2 toothpicks
- Bibb lettuce
Preparation
Step 1
Make the Jello in the pie plate and chill until set. Place the peach halves, ( the "boats," ) cut side up, atop the Jello, ( the " lake." ) Cut the cheese slice in half diagonally, and carefully insert a toothpick into the top center of each cheese triangle, bending the cheese slice slightly, and pushing the toothpick through the bottom center of the cheese slice ( the boat's " sail." ) Insert the cheese " sail " into the peach " boat." Arrange pieces of lettuce around the edge of the pie plate ( the lettuce is the " greenery " along the " lake shore." )
