Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef, turkey,
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 3 cups water
- 2 15oz cans tomato sauce
- 2 15oz cans diced tomatoes
- 3 TBS soy sauce
- 2 TBS oregano
- 2 tsp basil
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 TBS seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 16 oz elbow noodles
Preparation
Step 1
In large stockpot, cook meat until no longer pink. Add onions, saute until tender. Add water, tomato sauce, tomatoes, garlic, and seasonings. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Stir in pasta and simmer for 20 more minutes, or until pasta is cooked. Remove from heat and remove bay leaves. Allow to rest 15-20 minutes before serving.
