Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground sirloin
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper, store in an airtight container)
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 T. bacon grease (or butter)
- 2 heaping T. all purpose flour
- pinch of salt
- 14 oz. beef broth
Preparation
Step 1
Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper to ground sirloin. Add Worcestershire sauce and beaten egg. Form patties and cook in skillet.
Make gravy:
2 T. bacon grease or butter, 2 Tbsp. flour, pinch of salt; and 14 oz. beef broth. Serve gravy over beef patties with mushed potatoes on the side.
