Oatmeal Plus Cookies in a Jar

3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 egg slightly beaten
1 t. vanilla

Ingredients

• 3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
• 1 egg slightly beaten
• 1 t. vanilla
• 2 c. oatmeal
• 1 c. flour
• 3/4 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. white sugar
• 1 t. baking soda
• 1 t. cinnamon
• 1/2 t. salt
• Optional: raisins, any flavour baking chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Empty jar of cookie mix into large bowl; thoroughly blend. Add the butter, the egg and vanilla.
Mix until completed blended. Shape into 1" balls. Place on cookie sheet 2" apart. Bake for 11-13 min until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 min on baking sheet.
