Chocolate Mousse

Not only is this the easiest mousse recipe you could ever make, everyone has told me it's better than the restaurants!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup Hershey's® cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup heavy cream (very cold)

Preparation

Step 1

SPRINKLE gelatin over cold water in small bowl. Stir and let stand 1 minute to soften. Add boiling water; stir until completely dissolved (mixture must be clear).

STIR together sugar and cocoa in small cold mixer bowl; add heavy cream and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until stiff peaks form; pour in gelatine mixture-beat until well blended. Spoon into serving dishes and chill about 1/2 hour.
