Ingredients
- 1 6 oz. can evaporated milk, divided
- 14 ounces caramel candies
- 18 ounces German Chocolate Cake mix, may use swiss chocolate
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
In double boiler, stir 1/3 cup evaporated milk and caramels. Cook over hot water. Stir often. Will become smooth. Set aside.
Stir together cake mix, butter and remaining evaporated milk. Press 1/2 dough into greased and floured 9x13. Bake 350 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chips on dough and top with caramel mixture. Crumble remaining dough over top. Bake another 15-18 minutes.
