Taco Macaroni Skillet

  • 3/4 # ground beef
  • 2 C. water
  • 1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes in juice, undrained
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1 1/2 C. (16 oz) dried elbow macaroni
  • 2/3 C. evaporated fat free milk
  • 1/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese
  • Additional cheddar cheese for topping



Step 1

Cook beef in large skillet, until brown; drain. Stir in water, tomatoes with juice, and seasoning mix. Cook until mixture comes to boil. Add pasta; return to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 min. or until pasta is tender. Stir in milk. Remove from heat; stir in cheese. Sprinkle additional cheese over top. Cover; let stand 5-10 min. before serving.
