One of the reviewers suggested using one peach tea bag and one regular tea bag but the recipe author noted that the tea had a "funny taste".

Another reviewer posted...I make sweet tea but a much larger amount, using 4 bags decaf tea, 4 bags mango and peach, 1 1/2 cups sugar, heat do not boil, let set covered overnight. Remove tea bags and pour in 2 qt. pitcher.

Ingredients

  • 3 c water
  • 2 family sized tea bags (roughly 8 regular tea bags)
  • 1/2 - 1 c sugar
  • 7 c cold water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Bring 3 cups water to boil in a saucepan: add tea bags, boil 1 minute: remove from heat. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes.

2. Remove and discard tea bags. Add desired amount of sugar, stirring until dissolved. pour into 1 gallon container and add 7 cups of cold water. Serve over ice.

3. for Peach Iced tea, use recipe above using 1/2 cup sugar. Stir together 1 1/2 quarts of tea, 1 (46 oz.) bottle of peach nectar and 2 Tablespoons of lemon juice. Serve over ice
