Apricot Bars

  • 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup apricot preserves or jam


Servings 1


Step 1

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in oats and sugar. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Pat 2/3 of mixture in 11x7 pan. Spread jam. Cover with remaining mixture. Bake at 375 for about 35 minutes, or until brown. Cool. Cut into bars.
