Healthy Slimming World Chips
Have a craving for chips (aka french fries)? These homemade ones are delicious and healthy too.
- 2 large baking potatoes
- 2 large sweet potatoes
Peel sweet potatoes. Pierce all potatoes with a fork, put them in a microwave and and cook at full power for 1-2 minutes. Turn over and cook another 1-2 minutes more.
Remove from microwave, cool slightly, and slice into thin chips. Sweet potatoes should be slightly thiner than the potatoes for even baking.
Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. Spray a baking tray with cooking spray. Spread all potatoes onto tray, season with salt and pepper and spray potatoes with spray too.
Bake 20-30 minutes, until starting to get brown and crispy, carefully turning halfway through. If needed, place under the grill for 2-3 minutes at the end for desired crispiness.
