Ingredients
- 6 chicken breasts, boned
- 4 TBL butter
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- S & P to taste
- 1/2 LB sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 can small dried onion rings
- 1/2 C grated jack cheese
Preparation
Step 1
in lg. pot melt butter, garlic salt, S & P together
add chicken
turning & basting on all sides w/ butter mixture
cover w/ lid & bake @ 350 for 1 hr.
take out
add mushrooms
put cover back on
bake until mushrooms are cooked (abt 15-20 min)
take out & put onion rings over top
add grated cheese
bake, uncovered until cheese melts
