Peanut Brittle

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 2 c. salted spanish nuts
  • 2 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet combine sugar, syrup and water, mix well cook on high without stirring until golden brown.
Add salt, margarine and nuts.
Add baking soda and stir..
Pour quickly onto greased cookie sheet with sides.
When cool break into pieces.
