Ingredients

• 2 cup Sugar
• 1/2 cup Corn Syrup
• 1/2 cup Hot Water
• 2 Egg Whites
• 2 tsp Vanilla
• may add 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts or 1/4 cups candied cherries

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook sugar, water, and syrup until it forms a hard brittle ball in cold water and makes a clean break when stuck against the side of a cup
2. Pour syrup slowly over egg whites which have been beaten until stiff
3. Beat constantly
4. Add nuts and vanilla, also fruit, if desired
5. Beat until creamy
6. With teaspoon or soup spoon drop divinity on greased plate
