Ingredients
- 1/2 a cup of softened butter
- 1/2 cup Coconut Sugar
- 1 and 1/4 cups of flour
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup agave
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In large bowl, cream together the butter and coconut sugar.
Beat in the egg, amaretto, and almonds.
Gradually mix in the flour until well blended.
Drop small balls of dough, 2 inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheets.
Garnish top of each cookie with several almond slivers.
Bake 5 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cookies are lightly colored.
