Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 can (10-12oz) condensed french onion soup, undiluted, divided
- 1/2 C dry bread crumbs1/4 tsp salt
- pinch pepper
- 1-1/2 LBS grd. beef
- 1 TBL flour
- 1/4 C water
- 1/4 C ketchup
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
- 6 C hot cooked egg noodles
Preparation
Step 1
in lg. bowl, beat egg
stir in 1/3 C soup, bread crumbs, S & P
add beef
mix gently
shape into 6 oval patties
brown in skillet over med heat 3-4 min on each side
remove
set aside
discard drippings
in same skillet, combine flour & water until smooth
add ketchup, worcestershire sauce, mustard & remaining soup
bring to boil
cook & stir for 2 min
return patties to skillet
cover & simmer for 15 min or until meat is no longer pink
serve patties & gravy over noodles
