Ingredients
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 slightly beaten egg yolks
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/3 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Step 1
cook first 5 ingredients, stirring, over medium heat until thickened. About 12 minutes
Add coconut and pecans, cool until it is thick enough to spread, beating occasionally.
