Ingredients
- Oven Temperature: 350
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1-4 oz. can green chiles, chopped
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Cook rice until just tender, do not overcook. Combine rice, sour cream, cheese and green chiles. Season to taste. Pour into a buttered 2 qt. casserole. Dot with butter and sprinkle with parmesan. Bake uncovered 30 minutes and serve immediately. May be prepared ahead and refrigerated. Allow to warm to room temperature before baking. Amount: 6-8 servings.
