Pan-crisped sausages and artisanal cheeses
- assorted sausages, such as chorizo
- assorted cheeses, such as cheddar and gouda
Prick sausages all over with a fork, transfer to a skillet over medium heat. Fill with enough water to reach a quarter up the sausages. Simmer, covered, until sausages are cooked thru and water evaporates, 10-15 minutes. Continue to cook sausages, turning, until crisp and golden brown, 3 minutes. Serve with cheeses, and crackers, crostini, jams, or any other sides.
